Social Proximity and Interaction within the Corporate Structure - Conclusion
The iMediaChannel corporate culture like many organizational
cultures and unlike informal cultures is based on a relatively
rigid set of rules that are designed to help meet the
organization’s narrow set of objectives. The culture and
sub-cultures that develop in these circumstances cannot continue to
exist outside the limited domain of the organization’s rules.
Beyond this limited domain, the more general social cultures are
more effective in predicting and understanding the interaction
patterns of individuals.
